This zigzag table is built of jarrah, using Domino joinery.
The 22.5° mitres have an alignment domino and a
through locking tenon.

The resulting joints are easily strong enough to
support my weight.

Here is a 3D model of my zigzag chair with Domino-reinforced mitre joinery, created in Alibre Design. If you download the image file and then view it using Adobe Reader 8 (not earlier versions), you can view the model model from any angle, by left-clicking on the image, and then holding down the left mouse button and dragging to rotate the model to any desired orientation. An article describing how to build the chair with domino joinery is published in the current issue of Woodcraft Magazine.
